Awakening

When I was on Guam, I remember a photo session that reminds me of this drawing - the pose and the feel of it is similar.  The only thing that's actually different is that he was lounging on the sand - he had a towel between his knees. He later had his subject lying into the small tidal pools - very languid and sensual and - yes - naked.  I was very appreciative being allowed to watch the session (I was the only one on the beach - I pulled a night shift and went to the beach to relax at dawn).  This sketch has the same creative DNA - particularly the position of the legs(very graceful and natural) and the ribs - the shading is accurate.  I could never find the pictures after the fact and regret it so this was nice to see.  Nicely done.
